Agate is found throughout the world, commonly in cavities in eruptive rocks, formed millions of years ago.

 

Agate is said to strengthen the body and mind and when worn will give the wearer a sense of courage, personally I think it's nonsense, but if you believe it then respect to you.  It is also supposed to relieve snake and scorpion bites, but if you happen to be in the unfortunate position to be bitten by either of these critters, I, as a disclaimer, never said it would relieve said bites.

 

The pendant measures 53mm at the widest part by 90mm including bail.  The thread hole of the bail is 10mm by 6mm.
